Show your pride in downtown Carbondale. Show that downtown businesses support community events. Help build momentum for a weekday farmers market downtown.
Support small farms: Our market features small and sustainable farms and food processors. Supporting our market and the Double Up program helps keep these farms in business and providing quality food for southern Illinois.
Make sourcing local easier for downtown restaurants: Our Chefs at the Market program will make buying local for restaurants as easy as coming to the market. No need to coordinate delivery schedules or track down farmers, just pop over to the market and buy local ingredients for weekend specials. Participating restaurants will be given a product list the day before the market and can contact vendors directly to arrange larger orders and ensure proper invoicing.
